Romanian Dead Lift

Purpose - Strengthening of the Hamstrings. This will aid the stability in his surgically replaced knees whilst improving posture which will reduce stress on his spine.

Box Squat

Purpose - Compound movement which activates multiple muscles mainly in the lower half of the body. this allows for potential increase of load the body can take, increasing joint durability.

Abdominal sit up

Purpose - Increase core strength whilst keeping minimal stress to joints. this will help reduce stress on the spine with the stronger core pulling the body into a neutral posture. This also pairs well with gluten/ Hamstring strengthening.

Blood Flow Restriction Leg Extension

Purpose - Strengthening of the Quadriceps. By restricting blood flow into the muscle, the quadricep is forced to work harder. essentially, more microtears will occur. pairing this with effective recovery, the muscle will strengthen and grow.

Post Programme

Here is Our client after completing their Fitness Programme, looking physically and mentally fitter.

" I feel so much more confident and energised on a day to day basis! tasks I  couldn't do, like long walks, are now super easy and enjoyable."  - Andy

Although Andy had lost a meroceles amount of weight prior to his Fitness Programme, some tasks were still a struggle. By improving his physical capability, he can now complete those very same tasks without breaking a sweat.

Pre Fitness Programme

"looking back now, I was very stressed and tired back then. I feel like a whole different person now!" - Andy

Mix Martial Arts

This is Andy in his early 20s, when he competed in mix martial arts, nation wide and even becoming British Champion!

Andy was extremely physically fit having trained everyday. However, this is a significant cause to the pain and surgery years down the line, post retirement.

Andy's reflection on his time competing in mix martial arts: "I am immensely proud of what I accomplished. I wish there were as much knowledge on managing training load now, back in the 80s and 90s, hopefully that would've prevented a surgery or two."
